About

Emily MacMillan believes in sharing a good thing. She combines her experience, knowledge, and gifts to help others in practical ways to live their best lives.

First-hand experience with an international food science company and its patented formulas has made a huge difference in her life, as has her relationship with Healing Touch, a modality that clears disruption from the body’s energetic system. Emily applies what she has learned to help others find their own sense of peace and joy in body, mind, and spirit.

Her Mission

Emily’s practice has evolved to serve people in a variety of ways, and is committed to help them find their pathways to joy and holistic healthy aging, through nutrition, energetic clearing, or both. She works both in English and in Spanish.

Emily created Gozo Wellness (Gozo means Joy) and sees clients at her studio on Brookstown Avenue in Winston-Salem.  She also meets with groups in churches, schools, offices, and retirement homes to teach simple self-care techniques and to help people better understand and work with their own energy systems.  She has met with clients and their animals as well.  She also works with performing artists before or after they perform, to clear and reset their energy and mindset. Emily also meets clients long distance over the phone for remote healing sessions.

Background

After school and travels, Emily taught high school, where she worked hard, and played hard. She started to get very sick every winter, thinking that to be normal, and her adventures led to injuries. This increase of inflammation in her body affected her lifestyle and relationships.

Several people pointed to nutritional support, so when a friend introduced her to a food science company with patented nutritional epigenetic shakes, she ordered them! Improved sleep, increased energy, and decreased inflammation led to a better sense of well-being. The support her immune system received has supported healthier aging for her, and she has gone on to help countess others as well, both locally, and around the country.

During this time, Emily also joined a family member in learning about Healing Touch through the local hospital. The experience was so profound that she worked to become certified, which included completing 4 levels of training, and documenting one hundred sessions with clients, experiencing and documenting many other healing modalities, networking opportunities, and reading. She has been a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner with Healing Beyond Borders since 2017. https://www.healingbeyondborders.org/
