What is Healing Touch?
Healing Touch is a healing modality that works with the energetic system of the body. Techniques involve light touch to no touch, and help to clear and balance the client's energy field. This supports the body's ability to self-heal on the energetic level. The client is fully clothed and may sit in a chair or lie on a massage table. Style of treatment varies per session to support the goals of the client. Benefits are seen in sessions that last 10 minutes (in a group setting) and in deeper work that lasts 40-60 minutes. Session pricing varies. All work is confidential.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A HEALING TOUCH SESSION?
The first session involves a consultation in addition to the Healing Touch session. The provider will do an initial client intake involving questions about your physical, mental, and emotional situation, and will answer questions you have about Healing Touch. Then you sit comfortably in a chair or lie fully clothed on a massage table while the provider gently places his or her hands slightly above or on the body, with your permission. The session generally lasts 45 to 60 minutes, and people frequently report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful during and after the session. Because there may be a cumulative effect of using Healing Touch over time, regularly scheduled sessions are recommended.
By appointment only. Must arrive on time. Masks are required.

Healing Touch for Groups is for families, offices, schools, church groups and other organizations. "I wanted to thank you once again for coming out to our facility and presenting your Healing Touch Therapy to our residents (at our retirement community)! They seemed to really enjoy it! I know I felt really relaxed after you left!" -HG
“Emily taught our staff members how to practice self-care in easy and practical ways. When working in a field that helps others, especially those who have dealt with trauma, self-care is incredibly important but can be hard to practice. Emily’s techniques can be done in just a few minutes and will greatly help us to continue helping others in our community.” - A Clinical Liaison, Family Services & Counseling
“After my experience with Healing Touch I felt rejuvenated and was able to zone into my performance better.” -Al Kapeezy, songwriter/performing artist, Hustle&Flow – Take Me To The River
“Emily MacMillan’s Healing Touch therapy was simply amazing! I received her therapy shortly before going on stage after a long travel day and was feeling slightly under the weather. The Healing Touch therapy gave me a renewed feeling of myself and I was able to tap into (what I call) the “blue” energy. I was immediately comforted and energized by a blue light-which I’ve only experienced a few times in my life, that reflects a relaxing energy- after only ten minutes of her therapy. It’s a fantastic way to settle and re-center.” – Martin Shore, Musician/Director, Take Me to the River(Shared with permission) Contact Emily to set an appointment
